McBride Orthopedic Hospital opens outpatient surgery center — 3 details

Oklahoma City, Okla.-based McBride Orthopedic Hospital opened an outpatient surgery center in early June.

Three details:

1. The 35,500-square-foot surgery center has six orthopedic surgical suites, 24 preparation and recovery bays, and 12 post-anesthesia care unit beds. Construction on the Oklahoma City-based center began in 2017.

2. Built northeast of the McBride Orthopedic Hospital-North OKC Outpatient Clinic campus, the new center gives patients access to outpatient procedures involving the knee, shoulder, foot, ankle, hip and spine, as well pain management.

3. McBride Orthopedic Hospital opened in 2005. McBride is an entirely physician-owned specialty hospital with 23 orthopedic surgeons and 32 physicians total.
