The center, a collaboration between Compass Surgical Partners and several local orthopedic surgeons, is the first ASC in the Southern Louisiana region to specialize solely in joint replacement.

The 8,580-foot facility has three operating rooms where it will perform total hip and knee replacements, sports medicine procedures and other orthopedic surgeries. The ASC also features a Mako robotic arm assisted robot for total knee and joint replacements.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
