Illinois surgery center hosts ribbon cutting ceremony

Peoria, Ill.-based Springfield Clinic hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for its Peoria Surgery Center on Oct. 18, CBS affiliate WMBD reported.

The ASC will offer a variety of services including colonoscopies, biopsies and gastric sleeves. 

The facility has five operating rooms and a recovery center with six beds to accommodate extended stay patients.
