Hurricane Michael delays CON hearing for North Carolina ASC — 3 insights

A certificate of need hearing for Hendersonville, N.C.-based Margaret R. Pardee Memorial Hospital's ASC proposal has been delayed because of Hurricane Michael, BlueRidgeNow.com reports.

Here's what you should know:

1. The hospital wants to relocate two operating rooms from its main campus to a new ASC development in Mills River, N.C.

2. The proposed development would cost $16.3 million. Hospital officials expect the facility would open in July 2021.

3. The hearing will be delayed a week.
