The Surgical Center of New Hampshire, a joint venture between Surgical Care Affiliates and Granite State Gastroenterology, will be 9,993 square feet and have two operating rooms, one of which can be used as a procedure room, along with one dedicated procedure room. Physicians at the center will perform endoscopies, colonoscopies and other GI procedures.

“We have a strong relationship with primary care groups in the region, so building a facility where high quality procedures can be performed in a non-hospital setting made sense,” Leon McLean, MD, medical director of the ASC, told the Union Leader. “We will be able to deliver outstanding surgical and GI care utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. This, combined with a highly skilled staff, will allow us to enhance and optimize the patient experience.”
