Here’s what you should know:
1. The health system is expanding its freestanding emergency room in Deltona by building a 190,000-square-foot community hospital with a surgery center.
2. The hospital will have 42 inpatient beds with the ability to add another 48 if need requires.
3. The center also has an imaging center with MRI, CT, X-ray, mammogram and ultrasound technology.
4. The building was developed by Adams, Robins & Morton and HKS Architects
5. Hospital administrators expect the addition to open in December 2019.
