East Alabama Medical Center opens facility with ASC

East Alabama Medical Center opened a medical facility with an ASC in Auburn, Opelika-Auburn News reported June 4.

The $33.7 million, 84,000-square-foot building includes an ASC, a 12-bed emergency department, an in-house pharmacy and a breast health center. 

The city of Auburn kicked in $2 million for site preparation and infrastructure for the facility, according to Opelika-Auburn News.
