San Francisco-based Dignity Health has broken ground on an advanced ambulatory care center in Folsom Ranch, Calif.

Advanced Ambulatory Care Center at Folsom Ranch will include an outpatient center, specialty services and integrated technology, according to an Oct. 2 news release from Dignity Health.

The facility is the first phase in multi-year projects that could develop into a full medical campus.

The center is expected to be completed in summer 2027 and employ hundreds of full-time staff once fully operational, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
