Conway Medical Center seeks permission to house ASC in 3-story building

Conway (S.C.) Medical Center bought about 8.8 acres in Socastee, S.C., for a medical office complex, myhorrynews.com reports.

1. CMC leaders applied for a certificate of need to house an ASC on the second floor of a three-story building under development.

2. The first floor will feature urgent care, pediatric care and primary care spaces. The third floor will have office space for specialists.

3. The building is expected to be operational in June.

4. The construction budget was $11.29 million.
