Four insights:
1. The Marietta, Ga.-based organization will open its multispecialty outpatient surgery center at WellStar Acworth (Ga.) Health Park on July 15.
2. The one-story center will occupy 25,000 square feet, Cobb Business Journal reported when the project was announced in 2018.
3. The center will offer outpatient surgical procedures including general surgery, colorectal surgery, gynecology, urology, podiatry, ENT, orthopedics and interventional spine pain management.
4. The facility is intended to “provide a convenient, close to home location for surgeries that do not require a hospital stay,” WellStar Health System said in a LinkedIn post.
