Charleston Area Medical Center plans 2 more ASCs

After applying for a certificate of need to acquire and renovate an ASC in South Charleston, W.Va., for $277,740, Charleston (W.Va.) Area Medical Center has plans for two more ASCs, according to Definitive Healthcare.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The medical center is planning the development of an ASC in Ripley, W.Va., for $700,000. 

2. It also plans to develop an ASC in Hurricane, W.Va., for $2,438,000.

3. Applications for both projects were filed Oct. 12.
