Rancho Mirage, Calif.-based Eisenhower Health opened a new outpatient campus in Palm Springs, Calif., according to an April 30 report by KMIR-TV NBC Palm Springs

The campus includes the Brad Lampley and Rigo Lomeli Health Center, along with expanded cardiology and oncology clinics aimed at increasing access to specialty care in the Coachella Valley.

The expansion is designed to bring services closer to where patients live and work and reduce the need to travel to the main campus in Rancho Mirage. The project was supported by a multimillion-dollar philanthropic donation and local funding through Measure J, a community investment program, according to the report.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
