California surgery center holds open house — 3 insights

Bakersfield, Calif.-based Kern Medical Surgery Center officials held an open house May 20 to allow the public to tour the newly opened surgery center, local news affiliate 23ABC reports.

1. The surgery center has three operating rooms and one procedure room.

2. Center physicians will perform ENT, orthopedic, plastic surgery and podiatry cases at the center.

3. The center can perform up to 8,000 cases annually.
