Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham (Mass.) is developing plans for an additional ambulatory care building after patient volume doubled in the last 10 years, the Boston Business Journal reported Sept. 1.
Hospital officials told the Needham Planning Board the hospital is in the preliminary stages of planning the building.
John Fogarty, president of BID Needham, told the publication the building would operate on the same hospital license as the existing building. The hospital is part of Cambridge, Mass.-based Beth Israel Lahey Health.
