Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on a $78 million outpatient surgery center in Winston-Salem, N.C.
According to an April 22 news release, the 55,000-square-foot facility will open in early May. It features 12 surgical suites, including eight operating rooms, two procedure rooms, a simulation operating room and a robotic-surgery training room.
The simulation room and robotic room will support Wake Forest Baptist’s medical school. The new facility is located across from Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
