Atrium Health Denver Surgery Center completed an expansion that added a dedicated endoscopy suite, three preoperative rooms and additional clinical space.

The Denver, N.C., center officially reopened to patients in August as Lincoln County’s only ambulatory surgery center, according to a Sept. 11 press release.

The center provides outpatient services in gynecology, general surgery, pediatric dentistry, orthopedics, pain management and endoscopy.

Atrium Health Denver Surgery Center also earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care as part of its transition to a freestanding ambulatory surgery center.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
