Athens-Limestone Hospital plans grand opening for surgery center: 3 details

Athens, Ala.-based Athens-Limestone Hospital will hold a grand opening for its new surgery center Dec. 3.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The three-story Athens Limestone Tower features a community pharmacy on the first floor, The News Courier reports. 

2. Huntsville, Ala.-based The Orthopaedic Center opened a location on the facility’s second floor in late August, DecaturDaily.com reports.

3. The $25 million building is about 80,000 square feet and fully leased.
