Multiple developers are set to break ground on a healthcare facility and surgery center in Hoover, Ala., according to an Aug. 13 report from Yellow Hammer News.
The South Haven Surgical Plaza is an 80,000-square-foot, four-story medical center that includes an ASC with six operating rooms, two procedure rooms and an advanced imaging and diagnostic center.
The $35 million medical office building is the initial anchor project in a $200 million phase two expansion of Stadium Trace Village.
The Hoover City Council has provided a $28 million performance-based economic development agreement for the project.
The design of the ASC allows for the future addition of a 55,000-square-foot surgical hospital, the report said.
