After ASC opening, acquisition, Arkansas specialty group expands again — 4 quick notes

Little Rock-based Arkansas Urology broke ground on a new location to accommodate its larger physician team and meet local demand.

Four quick notes:

1. Construction on the facility in Conway, Ark., began May 23. It is expected to open in early 2020.

2. Arkansas Urology’s existing Conway facility has three urologists and two advanced practice nurses, creating a need for more space, according to physician-partner Jeff Marotte, MD.

3. Two physicians joined the Conway clinic after Arkansas Urology’s 2017 acquisition of independent group practice Conway Urology.

4. Arkansas Urology’s 17 physicians, nine physician extenders, and 200 clinical and business staff employees treat patients at 10 facilities throughout the state. The organization opened Little Rock-based Centerview Surgery Center in 2018.
