$5.3M ASC proposed in Mississippi

A certificate-of-need has been submitted to the Mississippi State Department of Health for the establishment of a new ASC in Madison, Miss., according to a June 19 report from the Magee News.

The application was submitted on June 19 by the Mississippi Baptist Surgery Center. The center’s expected capital expenditure is over $5.3 million. 

The department is accepting public comments on the proposal until July 5.
