The ASC is slated to offer bariatric surgery. If the project goes ahead as planned, the facility will be the second standalone, non-hospital-owned ASC in Buffalo, according to Business First.
Kanaka Partners, an affiliate of healthcare real estate developer Nidus Development, is planning the building. The facility will also include 43 affordable housing units and a health and wellness center.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
