$152M patient tower to expand Florida hospitals’ surgery offerings 

BayCare’s St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., has opened a $152 million patient tower that will expand its surgical offerings, hospital owner BayCare Health System said May 6.

The expansion, which adds about 143,000 square feet to the hospital campus, includes three surgical suites and 90 private rooms. 

The hospital is now licensed for 448 beds.
