VisionMed appoints new strategic advisor of ambulatory, office-based surgery

VisionMed has appointed Tony Burns as strategic advisor for ambulatory and office-based surgery.

According to a May 1 news release, Mr. Burns brings more than three decades of experience in ambulatory surgery centers and office-based procedural environments. He is the founder of iOR Partners, where his work has focused on the design, development and operation of procedural settings across multiple specialties.

In the role, Mr. Burns will advise VisionMed on site-of-care dynamics and the integration of its EMMA multimodal video intelligence platform into high-volume procedural settings. The platform converts procedural video into structured clinical data.
