The specialties ASCs are planning to expand

Spine, total joint replacement and cardiology are the specialties that ASC leaders are  most interested in expanding in 2026, according to data published in VMG Health’s “ASC Leader Expectations for 2026” survey. 

The survey collected responses from 97 ASC leaders at both independent and joint ventured-owned ASCs. 

Here’s a breakdown of the specialties respondents said that would consider expanding in 2026:

Spine: 39%

Total joint: 37%

Other: 37%

Cardiology: 30%
