The lowest-paying states for nurses

New Jersey is the lowest paying area for registered nurses, according to the Medical Group Management Association’s “Datadive Management and Staff Compensation Data Report.”

The report includes data on more than 157,000 management and staff positions from more than 2,940 organizations.

The lowest-paying state for medical assistants is Hawaii and the lowest-paying state for licensed practical nurses is West Virginia.
