Mesquite, Texas-based providers North Texas Team Care Surgery Center and Advanced Pain Solutions recognized C.M. Schade, MD, PhD, of Advanced Pain Solutions, for his patient care efforts, Mesquite News reports.
What you should know:
1. Dr. Schade also works with state legislators, the Texas State Medical Board and the Texas State Pharmacy Board to develop laws and regulations in the state.
2. In addition to this clinical work, he is the vice president of the Texas Pain Society of Greater North Texas and serves on the board of the Texas Pain Society.
3. Dr. Schade said he was honored by the recognition.
"By being recognized, it helps [physicians] ... get the word out that there is hope, there is help available and there are treatment alternatives," he said.
