Tenet names Lisa Foo as company’s 1st COO

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, the parent company of United Surgical Partners International, has appointed Lisa Foo to serve as the company’s first COO.

The appointment to the newly created position was effective May 30, according to a securities filing from Tenet.

Prior to becoming COO, Ms. Foo has served Tenet’s executive vice president, commercial operations since March 2022, where she led enterprise functions such as strategy, business development, marketing, data and analytics and procurement.

In addition, she served as vice president, chief commercial and strategy officer from April 2019 to March 2022, according to a definitive proxy statement filed by Tenet on April 11.
