Surgical Notes taps former DaVita executive as chief technology officer — 4 insights

Nathan Hess is joining Surgical Notes as its chief technology officer.

Here’s what you should know:

1. Mr. Hess comse to Surgical Notes after tenures at DaVita, American International Group, Dell and Perot Systems.

2. He most recently was the senior director of information technology operational excellence at DaVita Rx.

3. At Surgical Notes, he will oversee the company’s technology decisions, while helping strengthen the company’s focus on customer-oriented services.

4. Mr. Hess received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lubbock-based Texas Tech University. He is in the midst of earning a MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
