Surgery Partners names new COO

Brentwood, Tenn.-based Surgery Partners has appointed Justin Oppenheimer to serve as the company’s next COO and national group president.

Mr. Oppenheimer previously served as chief strategy officer and COO, among other leadership roles, at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, according to documents filed with the SEC. 

His appointment is effective Jan. 1, 2026. 

Harrison Bane, the previous national group president of Surgery Partners, resigned from the role Oct. 3.
