Several ASC management companies announced leadership changes in early November:

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare named Charles Gressle president of its East Florida Division in Fort Lauderdale.

The number of ASC leaders reporting a salary of $100,000 or more was down 8 percentage points compared to 2018, according to OR Manager's 2019 Salary/Career Survey.

Dallas-based EyeCare Services Partners tapped a leader from Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare to serve as chief operating officer.

Clinical software developer Provation has named Daniel Hamburger as its next CEO, replacing Dave Del Toro.

Saum Sutaria, MD, is now president and COO of Tenet Healthcare.

Douglas Smink, MD, will be the new chief of surgery at Boston-based Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital starting Jan. 1, Wicked Local Dedham reports.

Optum CEO Andrew Witty was promoted to UnitedHealth Group president on Nov. 12 and will retain his responsibilities with Optum.

Regina Nethery will join Tenet Healthcare Corp. in November as vice president of investor relations, the company announced Nov. 5.
