United Surgical Partners International
CFO: Patrick Roberts
Patrick Roberts joined USPI as CFO in April 2024, bringing a background in healthcare finance and strategic partnerships. Prior to USPI, he served as CFO and vice president of strategic partnerships at Baylor Scott & White Health, where he oversaw financial management of the system’s joint venture portfolio. Before that, he was a senior director on Tenet Healthcare’s corporate development team.
SCA Health
CFO: Leslie Wachsman
Leslie Wachsman oversees SCA Health’s fiscal planning and analytics while supporting strategic investments in facility growth and technology. She brings more than 13 years of tenure at SCA Health to the role, having previously held several finance leadership positions at CVS Health.
AmSurg
CFO: Sarah Belmont
Sarah Belmont joined AmSurg as CFO in 2021, bringing more than two decades of experience in corporate finance across senior living and healthcare real estate. Before joining AmSurg, she served as senior vice president of financial planning and analysis at Brookdale Senior Living, where she led teams spanning advanced analytics and FP&A.
HCA’s Surgery Ventures
CFO: David McKnight
David McKnight brings more than 15 years of HCA Healthcare experience to his role overseeing the financial operations of Surgery Ventures. He most recently served as CFO of St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas — a campus that includes the Heart Hospital of Austin and St. David’s Georgetown Hospital. Earlier in his career, he held a range of leadership roles within HCA’s Capital Division, including CEO of Johnston-Willis Hospital and both CFO and CEO of Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
Surgery Partners
CFO: Dave Doherty
Dave Doherty was appointed CFO of Surgery Partners in February 2022, having previously served as the company’s senior vice president of corporate finance and controller. He joined Surgery Partners in 2018 after a tenure at Aetna, where he held a range of senior financial roles including leading internal audit, planning and risk management, and serving as assistant controller.
