Here are five things to know:
1. Ms. Dobson served as the Laurel Eye Clinic, Laurel Laser & Surgery Center and Laurel Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery Center administrator for 20 years. She will resign her post next month to join BSM Consulting, where she has been an independent contractor for eight years.
2. Ms. Shaw is a certified ophthalmic executive and has been on the Laurel Eye senior management team for 17 years.
3. During her tenure with Laurel Eye, Ms. Shaw was responsible for converting the 10 centers to EMR and previously served as the patient accounts manager and IT manager.
4. Ms. Shaw has expertise on the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015, MIPS and other reimbursement issues.
5. Ms. Cook will serve in a consulting role at Laurel Eye following her departure as administrator. The Laurel Eye Clinic served more than 59,000 patients last year and its surgeons performed more than 6,500 procedures at the two surgery center locations.
