Johnson & Johnson opened a training and laboratory space in Jacksonville, Fla., called the Surgical Vision Experience Center.

What you should know:

1. The center is inside the Johnson & Johnson Institute.

2. The company designed the space for practicing ophthalmic surgeons, ophthalmology residents and optometrists.

3. The company hopes the space will facilitate the "safe and effective use of Johnson & Johnson Vision products."

4. The center will offer training across Johnson & Johnson's full product line.
