Here's what you should know.
1. The healthcare management field is rapidly growing. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects 17 percent growth from 2017 to 2024, which is approximately 56,300 more jobs.
2. The management field offers perspective graduates jobs in digital health, insurance, finance, pharma biotech, venture capital, medical devices and entrepreneurship, according to Philadelphia-based Wharton School.
3. Median pay is more than $104,000 and top salaries exceed $187,000 in the field.
