Former surgery center CEO named managing director of Vertess

Former ASC and hospital CEO J. Blake Peart has joined Fort Worth, Texas-based mergers and acquisitions advisory firm Vertess as a managing director.

At Vertess, Mr. Peart will provide consulting services to ASCs, physician practices and independent hospital markets, Vertess said in December. 

He previously held CEO roles at the Opthamology Surgery Center of Dallas and Louisville-based Kindred Healthcare, according to his LinkedIn profile.
