Former HCA Gulf Coast Division executive Eric Evans to join East Houston Regional Medical Center

East Houston Regional Medical Center named Eric Evans CEO.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Evans recently served as Houston-based Hospital Corporation of America Gulf Division’s senior vice president of strategic planning.

2. During his tenure at HCA, Mr. Evans worked to create, implement and manage the division’s strategy.

3. His other leadership positions include COO of Houston-based The Woman’s Hospital of Texas and COO of New Orleans-based Lakeview Regional Medical Center.

4. Mr. Evans is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and an American Leadership Forum board member.

“Eric has shown his ability to work with leaders across the division to ensure optimal collaboration, coordination and communication,” said HCA Gulf Coast Division President Troy Villarreal. “I know he will take his extraordinary talent for management and effective communication and put it to great use at East Houston Regional Medical Center. I look forward to seeing how he steers the facility.”
