Ms. Jaekle’s responsibilities will include leading the company’s growth in the region, expanding the orthopedic and ASC practice models and assisting in the transition from fee-for-service to value-based care.
Previously, Ms. Jaekle served in a senior development role for a regional integrated delivery system, and she’s been a leader in faith-based nonprofit and private for-profit health systems.
“With Ms. Jaekle in this role, we are well positioned to transform care delivery with new partners in new markets throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, saving patients, employers and payers millions of dollars annually in unnecessary surgical costs,” said John Palumbo, executive chairman of ValueHealth.
