1. Dr. Harris will join Drexel University full time on May 1 after running a successful private practice since 1989.

2. He has been affiliated with the college for nearly 30 years.

3. Dr. Harris earned his medical degree from Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University. He completed an internship at Philadelphia-based Hahnemann University Hospital and a residency at Richmond-based Medical College of Virginia.

4. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and The College of Physicians of Philadelphia.
