Dr. Robert Zwolak to lead surgical services at New Hampshire VA ASC

Robert Zwolak, MD, PhD, will serve as the chief of surgical services at the Manchester (N.H.) Veterans Affairs Medical Center's ASC, the New Hampshire Union Leader reports.

What you should know:

1. The VA developed the ASC to meet the needs of New Hampshire veterans.

2. Dr. Zwolak is a vascular surgeon. He earned his medical degree and doctorate at Albany (N.Y.) Medical College. He completed a residency at Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan and his fellowship at Seattle-based University of Washington.

"The appointment of Dr. Zwolak is a win for Granite State veterans," Medical Center director Alfred Montoya Jr. said.
