2. The six other Califonia-based award winners were:
- Roseville Surgery Center
- Surgery Center of Palo Alto
- Surgery Center San Carlos
- Surgery Center Fremont
- Sutter Alhambra Surgery Center in Sacramento
- Sutter Gould Stockton Surgery Center
3. CASA judges the centers on five criteria:
- Membership
- Advocacy
- Quality Metrics
- Education
- Community Involvement
Applications were reviewed by an unbiased committee of judges. The judges reviewed applications with supporting documentation.
4. The organization said the awards recognize, “a CASA Member facility who exemplifies best practices in the surgery center industry, plus actively promotes and advocates for ASC excellence and inclusion in the healthcare delivery system.”
