The Ambulatory Surgery Center Association board unanimously elected Todd Currier, CASC, as its new president during the ASCA + SAMBA Conference & Expo in Washington, D.C., May 13–16.
Mr. Currier serves as CEO and administrator of Bend (Ore.) Surgery Center, and will lead the Alexandria, Va.-based trade association for a two-year term, according to a news release shared with Becker’s June 1. He has served on the ASCA board since 2023 and as treasurer from 2024 to 2026.
“It is an honor and privilege to step into the role as president of ASCA,” Mr. Currier said. “Our members are the driving force behind this organization, and I look forward to working alongside them.”
A 20-year healthcare industry veteran, Mr. Currier previously worked as an ASC administrator in Wyoming, Montana and Washington state before joining Bend Surgery Center. He is an officer of the Oregon Ambulatory Surgery Center Association and was a founding member of Wyoming’s state ASC association.
