ASC management company Unifeye Vision Partners hires Rick Pence as COO

Unifeye Vision Partners, a Waud Capital Partners portfolio company, named Rick Pence COO, according to PE Hub Network.

Here are four things to know:

1. Prior to joining UVP, Mr. Pence was the COO of Solis Mammography.

2. He is equipped with more than 35 years of experience and was the co-founder, president and COO of National Surgical Care.

3. AmSurg acquired NSC in 2011, which increased its presence in Dallas by adding 18 new ASCS at that time. AmSurg merged with Envision Healthcare Holdings in June 2016 to become Envision Healthcare Corp.

4. UVP provides management and support to both ophthalmology ASCs and other ophthalmology and optometry practices.
