5 ASC leadership shakeups in 2025

Here are five leadership moves affecting the ASC industry since Jan. 17, 2025:

1. Michelle Soto, MD, was appointed medical director of ambulator care at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx in New York City. 

2.  Corwin Harper exited his role as CEO of Shreveport, La.-based Ochsner LSU Health and was appointed president of Kaiser Permanente’s Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Georgia.

3. Kaiser Permanente appointed Wendy Watson as president of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals of the Northwest

4. Jason Mitchell, MD, is set to join Danville, Pa.-based Geisinger — which was recently acquired by Kaiser’s Risant Health — as executive vice president and chief medical officer.

5. HCA appointed a CEO and other leaders for Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H., ahead of its anticipated integration into the system. John Skevington was named CEO of the 330-bed hospital.
