Wickenburg (Ariz.) Community Hospital partnered with Richard Kootman, MD, to expand its Surgical Center services, the Wickenburg Sun reports.
What you should know:
1. Dr. Kootman is the founder and medical director of Peoria, Ariz.-based Arrowhead Eye Center.
2. He is an ophthalmologist and a corneal specialist.
3. Dr. Kootman earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed a residency at New Orleans-based Tulane Medical Center and a fellowship at St. Louis University Medical Center.
4. He is an American Academy of Ophthalmology fellow.
