1. Vizient recognized:

  • UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital – University of Colorado Medicine in Boulder
  • UW Health in Madison, Wis.
  • NYU Langone Health in New York City
  • Emory Healthcare Physician Group Practices in Atlanta
  • University of Utah Health in Salt Lake City

2. The five health systems were recognized for the quality of their outpatient care.

3. Specifically, Vizient evaluated the systems on their access to care, capacity and throughput, quality and efficiency, continuum of care and equity.

4. Vizient also awarded its Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Award, its Vizient Quality Leadership Rising Star Award and its Vizient Clinical Innovation Award.
