Martin Ventures CEO Phil Roe is joining TeamHealth's board of directors.
Here's what you should know:
1. Mr. Roe jointed Martin Ventures in June 2015, after serving as vice president of finance for Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare. At Martin Ventures, he leads the investment committee and provides insight into portfolio activity.
2. TeamHealth CEO Leif Murphy said, "We are very pleased to welcome [Mr. Roe] to the TeamHealth board of directors. [His] vast knowledge of the healthcare landscape and tenured leadership at various health-focused organizations will add value to our board as we continue to position TeamHealth as the leading clinician practice in the country."
3. Mr. Roe said he was excited to continue the company's commitment to clinical quality and patient safety.
