Surgery Partners' Raymond Hino becomes California State Rural Health Association president

Surgery Partners Regional Director of Operations Raymond Hino was named 2018 president of the California State Rural Health Association.

"I am personally very excited about the opportunity that we have in front of us," wrote Mr. Hino in a welcome post published on the CSRHA website. "We have a mix of continuing board members and new board members that are dedicated to building upon the legacy of CSRHA as the one organization in California that represents all varied constituency groups in rural healthcare."

Mr. Hino has spent more than 30 years as a healthcare executive, including time as president and CEO of Sonoma West Medical Center in Sebastopol, Calif., and CEO of Fort Bragg, Calif.-based Mendocino Coast District Hospital. He also has experience as administrator at Chico, Calif.-based Skyway Surgery Center.

In his current role with Surgery Partners, Mr. Hino oversees operations at three ASCs, partnering with physician owners to ensure they're able to provide a high level of care at their facilities.
