Nobilis names Marc Celia EVP of operations: 4 takeaways

Houston-based Nobilis Health Corp. named Marc Celia executive vice president of operations.

Here are four takeaways:

1. In his new role, Mr. Celia will oversee all Nobilis facility operations and will collaborate with the centers' CEOs and administrators to strengthen efficiency.

2. Equipped with two decades of healthcare operational and managerial experience, he was recently the vice president of continuous improvements for Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare/United Surgical Partners Intentions.

3. He also was CEO of Houston-based Memorial Hermann Surgical Hospital Kingwood.

4. Nobilis manages 10 ASCs, 11 clinics and four hospitals throughout seven states.
