New chief to guide outpatient growth for diagnostic imaging company

Adam Nielsen is joining the Center for Diagnostic Imaging as chief development officer, the organization announced Jan. 6.

With a national network of imaging centers, ASCs and mobile imaging tools, CDI serves nearly 2,000 associates. Mr. Nielsen will be responsible for growing that network through acquisitions, partnerships and de novo strategies.

Mr. Nielsen comes to CDI from Great Lakes Caring Home Health and Hospice in Jackson, Mich., where he served as president and CEO. He previously worked on various teams for Deloitte Corporate Finance and Deutsche Bank.

"With the increasing national demand for high-quality, high-value outpatient-based imaging services, we're in a great position to grow," CDI CEO Rick Long said in a press release.
