Tampa, Fla.-based Florida Orthopaedic Institute appointed Joseph Gordon as its new CEO.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. Mr. Gordon previously served as the senior vice president and chief strategy officer for general medicine of Novi, Mich.-based General Medicine, a collaborative group of physicians and advanced nurse practictioners who focus on caring for patients in long-term care settings
2. He has over 30 years of operations and business development experience, including that which he gained at Highmark Health, the third-largest healthcare delivery and financing network in the U.S.
3. “Joe has the depth of knowledge needed for strategic growth going forward, and has the operational skill set the FOI board requires,” said Roy Sanders, FOI’s president and chief medical officer.
